Finca Las Moras's Alma Mora line translates to 'the soul of the blackberry,' a poetic nod to the mulberry trees that dot the San Juan landscape and gave the winery its name. This Rosado de Syrah is crafted from Syrah grapes grown in the high-altitude, sun-drenched vineyards of San Juan, where the intense desert sun is tempered by cool alpine nights. The grapes are harvested early to preserve their vibrant natural acidity and delicate red fruit aromas. A brief cold maceration gives the wine its brilliant pink hue before cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This process captures the pure, expressive character of San Juan Syrah in a refreshing, modern rosé style, marked by notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and a subtle touch of spice.
