✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the extreme, high-altitude sanctuary of the Pedernal Valley in San Juan, Sagrado Malbec represents the pinnacle of Finca Las Moras's viticultural achievements. The name 'Sagrado' (Sacred) pays homage to the pristine, isolated valley protected by the towering Andes. Here, at elevations exceeding 1,300 meters, the vines struggle in soils rich in 'pedernal' (flint) and limestone, nourished by pure glacial meltwater and intense, unfiltered sunlight. This unique terroir yields small, highly concentrated berries. The wine is crafted with meticulous care, undergoing extended maceration and aging for approximately 18 months in new French oak barrels. The result is an incredibly deep, complex Malbec that balances intense dark fruit with a distinct, stony minerality and refined, powerful tannins, reflecting the wild and sacred spirit of its high-desert origin.
