Maison Louis Jadot's Premier Cru red wines represent the pinnacle of Burgundy's climat-based viticulture, sourced from esteemed Premier Cru parcels across the Côte d'Or, such as those in Beaune, Pommard, and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Since 1859, Jadot has focused on expressing the distinct personality of each terroir. These Pinot Noir wines are crafted using traditional fermentation in open oak vats followed by 15 to 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, many of which are produced at Jadot's own Cadus cooperage. This meticulous approach preserves the historical legacy of Burgundy's monastic vineyard delineations, resulting in deeply structured, elegant red wines characterized by ripe red berry fruits, forest floor undertones, and a refined mineral backbone typical of the region's clay-limestone soils.
