Louis Jadot, established in 1859 in the heart of Beaune, is one of Burgundy's most historic and revered houses. While Burgundy is famous for its rich, oak-aged Chardonnays, the 'Steel' Chardonnay represents a deliberate departure from tradition to celebrate the grape in its purest, unvarnished form. Sourced from select vineyards across the Bourgogne region, this 100% Chardonnay undergoes fermentation and aging entirely in stainless steel tanks with no oak contact. This deliberate winemaking choice preserves the vibrant green apple, bright citrus, and flinty mineral notes characteristic of the region's limestone-rich soils. It is a testament to Jadot's ability to marry centuries of Burgundian heritage with a clean, modern, and refreshing style that echoes the crispness of Chablis.

Maison Louis Jadot blev grundlagt i 1859 af Louis Henry Denis Jadot i hjertet af det historiske Beaune og har siden udviklet sig til et af Burgunds mest respekterede og alsidige vinhuse. Med en imponerende portefølje af vinmarker i Côte d'Or, Chablis, Côte Chalonnaise, Mâconnais og Beaujolais forener vinhuset stolte håndværkstraditioner med en præcis og omhyggelig vinifikation. Jadot arbejder kompromisløst for at lade terroiret skinne igennem ved hjælp af naturlig gær, nænsom brug af egetræ og minimal indgriben, så hvert enkelt climat får sit helt autentiske udtryk.
