While Maison Louis Latour is synonymous with Burgundy, their pioneering spirit led them to the Ardèche region, bordering the Rhône, in the late 20th century. Recognizing the potential of the local clay-limestone soils and Mediterranean climate, they established vineyards to craft expressive, accessible varietal wines. This Viognier is a testament to that vision. Grown on sun-drenched hillsides, the grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's naturally intense, exotic aromatics. The resulting wine is beautifully aromatic, showcasing classic notes of white peach, apricot, and honeysuckle, balanced by a fresh, rounded finish that avoids the heavy oiliness sometimes associated with the grape.

Maison Louis Latour blev grundlagt i 1797 og har rødder i Aloxe-Corton helt tilbage fra det 17. århundrede. Huset er et af Bourgognes mest historiske familieejede negocianter og domæner, drevet gennem mere end 11 generationer. Med hovedsæde i Beaune råder vinhuset over det største areal af Grand Cru-vinmarker i Côte d'Or, herunder legendariske parceller på Corton-højen som Corton-Charlemagne og Château Corton Grancey.
