✨ Technical Specifications

Created in 1974 by Jean-Claude Rouzaud, nearly a century after the legendary white Cristal was born, Louis Roederer's Cristal Rosé is one of the world's most exclusive and revered Champagnes. This rare cuvée owes its unique character to a highly precise and demanding 'infusion' technique. Old-vine Pinot Noir from the limestone-rich Grand Cru clay soils of Aÿ undergoes a cold maceration to gently extract color and delicate red fruit aromatics without harsh tannins, before being blended with elegant Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. This painstaking process, combined with long cellar aging on the lees and a further period of bottle maturation after disgorgement, yields a rosé of peerless precision, silky texture, and multi-layered complexity that pays homage to the house's historic craftsmanship.
