Luigi Bosca's Riesling is a testament to the Arizu family's pioneering spirit and willingness to experiment with grape varieties outside Argentina's traditional repertoire. Sourced from the historic, high-altitude vineyards of Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, situated at approximately 1,150 meters above sea level, this wine challenges the notion that Riesling only thrives in Northern Europe. The intense solar radiation of Mendoza is balanced by the cooling alpine breezes from the Andes and significant diurnal temperature shifts, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving their signature crisp acidity. The vines are planted in sandy-loam soils with surface stones, contributing a distinct mineral undertone. Vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit, this dry Riesling showcases expressive aromas of white flowers, lime zest, and green apple, underpinned by a subtle, evolving petrol minerality that pays homage to its classic Old World counterparts.

Founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu, Bodega Luigi Bosca is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries, located in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Still family-owned and managed by the Arizu family, the estate has played a pioneering role in Argentine viticulture, notably helping to establish the country's first D.O.C. (Luján de Cuyo) in 1989. The winery's philosophy centers on showcasing the unique high-altitude terroirs of Mendoza through meticulous vineyard management and precise winemaking. Luigi Bosca is highly celebrated for its elegant, structured red blends and single-vineyard expressions, such as the iconic Finca Los Nobles Cabernet Bouchet and Gala 1 Malbec, alongside expressive whites like the Gala 3 Viognier and Linda Chardonnay.
