Crafted by the micro-negotiant house of Marchand-Tawse, this Bourgogne Chardonnay represents a harmonious blend of modern biodynamic philosophy and deep-rooted Burgundian tradition. Pascal Marchand, an iconic winemaker originally from Quebec, collaborates with Canadian financier Moray Tawse to source grapes from carefully selected, sustainably farmed parcels across the Côte d'Or. This wine is fermented using indigenous yeasts and aged primarily in older French oak barrels to preserve the vibrant, primary fruit character of the Chardonnay grape while imparting a subtle, textured complexity. Historically, Chardonnay has thrived in Burgundy's limestone-rich soils since the Middle Ages, when Cistercian monks meticulously charted the region's unique climats.
