✨ Technical Specifications
Miguel Torres's Cordillera Chardonnay is a masterclass in cool-climate Chilean viticulture, sourced from the exceptional soils of the Limarí Valley in the northern Coquimbo region. Here, the vines are cooled by the daily Camanchaca fog rolling in from the Pacific Ocean, and they sink their roots into rare, calcium carbonate-rich clay soils. This unique terroir imparts a distinct mineral tension and saline edge to the wine. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels with careful lees stirring, the wine strikes a beautiful balance between creamy, toasted brioche richness and vibrant, citrusy acidity, representing the Torres family's pioneering spirit in exploring Chile's diverse extreme terroirs.

Guided across five generations by an enduring spirit of innovation and environmental stewardship, the family revolutionized Spanish winemaking under the visionary leadership of Miguel A. Torres by championing pioneering viticultural techniques, climate action initiatives, and the recovery of ancestral grape varieties. Spanning premier estates in Catalonia, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, as well as ventures in Chile and California, their production philosophy centers on sustainability, biodiversity, and terroir transparency. The house is celebrated worldwide for legendary single-vineyard icons such as the Cabernet Sauvignon-driven Mas La Plana and the indigenous blend Grans Muralles, alongside renowned brandies and benchmark Catalan cuvées.
