Miguel Torres's Cordillera Chardonnay is a masterclass in cool-climate Chilean viticulture, sourced from the exceptional soils of the Limarí Valley in the northern Coquimbo region. Here, the vines are cooled by the daily Camanchaca fog rolling in from the Pacific Ocean, and they sink their roots into rare, calcium carbonate-rich clay soils. This unique terroir imparts a distinct mineral tension and saline edge to the wine. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels with careful lees stirring, the wine strikes a beautiful balance between creamy, toasted brioche richness and vibrant, citrusy acidity, representing the Torres family's pioneering spirit in exploring Chile's diverse extreme terroirs.
