✨ Technical Specifications
Nicolas Feuillatte's Palmes d'Or Rosé is a dramatic expression of Champagne artistry, presented in its signature faceted, dimpled bottle that evokes the texture of a black pearl. This prestige cuvée is traditionally crafted as a Rosé de Saignée from 100% Pinot Noir, sourcing grapes from the Grand Cru of Bouzy and the historic terroir of Les Riceys. This demanding production method coaxes out deep copper-pink hues and intense, vinous aromas of wild strawberries, dark cherries, and exotic spices. Created as the pinnacle of the house's craftsmanship, it balances opulent red fruit with a refined, mineral-driven structure born from years of lees aging in the chalky cellars of Chouilly.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in 1976 by entrepreneur Nicolas Feuillatte and subsequent union with Henri Macquart’s Centre Vinicole de la Champagne, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte has become the largest union of winegrowers in the appellation and the leading brand across France. Headquartered in Chouilly on the edge of the Côte des Blancs, the collective draws from over 2,100 hectares across the Marne Valley, Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, and Côte des Bar, encompassing more than 80 cooperatives, 11 Grands Crus, and 26 Premiers Crus. Terroirs vary from Belemnite chalk in the central hillsides to sedimentary limestone, marl, and Kimmeridgian clay in the southern reaches. Under the stewardship of Chief Winemaker Guillaume Roffiaen, the cooperative actively champions Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE). Winemaking emphasizes precision, purity of fruit, and vibrant freshness achieved via temperature-controlled stainless steel vinification and meticulous parcel blending, punctuated by benchmarks such as the benchmark Réserve Exclusive Brut and the vintage prestige cuvée Palmes d'Or.
