The 'Emilia' range by Nieto Senetiner is a heartfelt tribute to the inspiring women of the estate's history, capturing a spirit of elegance, hospitality, and modern vitality. Unlike the winery's more robust, cellar-worthy flagships, Emilia Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted to celebrate the immediate, vibrant fruit character of Mendoza. Sourced from selected vineyards across the region, the grapes undergo a gentle, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve their primary aromatics. The result is a highly approachable, fresh expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, defined by ripe red currant notes, subtle black pepper, and soft, round tannins that reflect Mendoza's sun-drenched terroir without the heavy influence of oak.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier wine-growing region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries. The estate was acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969, who expanded its facilities while preserving its architectural heritage, and it is now part of the Perez Companc Group. Renowned for its deep respect for terroir, the winery crafts exceptional wines from historic vineyards, including the centenarian vines of Finca Villa Blanca planted in 1906. Under the guidance of winemaker Santiago Mayorga, Nieto Senetiner produces elegant, structured wines, most notably their acclaimed Don Nicanor Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative blends that showcase the classic character of Mendoza.
