✨ wine.spec_sheet

Named in honor of Emilia Nieto, a key figure in the family's legacy, the Emilia Malbec represents the fresher, more vibrant side of Mendoza's signature grape. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards across Mendoza, this wine is crafted to showcase primary fruit expression rather than heavy oak influence. The winemaking process focuses on temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation to preserve the intense aromas of fresh plums, cherries, and violets. It is a modern tribute to the estate's heritage, offering an approachable, smooth, and highly expressive introduction to Argentine Malbec.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier wine-growing region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries. The estate was acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969, who expanded its facilities while preserving its architectural heritage, and it is now part of the Perez Companc Group. Renowned for its deep respect for terroir, the winery crafts exceptional wines from historic vineyards, including the centenarian vines of Finca Villa Blanca planted in 1906. Under the guidance of winemaker Santiago Mayorga, Nieto Senetiner produces elegant, structured wines, most notably their acclaimed Don Nicanor Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative blends that showcase the classic character of Mendoza.
