✨ Technical Specifications

While Nieto Senetiner is historically anchored in the warm, traditional terroirs of Luján de Cuyo, their exploration of Mendoza's cooler, high-altitude microclimates led to the creation of this elegant Pinot Noir. Sourced from selected vineyards where the intense alpine sunlight is balanced by cool mountain breezes, this wine showcases a different side of Argentine viticulture. The winemaking team focuses on preserving the delicate, ethereal nature of the grape, utilizing gentle extraction and careful aging in French oak to complement rather than overpower the fruit. The result is a refined expression of Pinot Noir that captures the purity of Mendoza's high-altitude terroir, marked by vibrant red berry aromas, subtle earthy complexity, and a soft, velvety texture.

🍾 About the Producer

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier Vistalba subregion of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner stands as one of Argentina's foundational and most storied wineries. Expanded and revitalized by the Nieto and Senetiner families beginning in 1969, the estate pairs more than a century of viticultural heritage with modern vinification techniques. Nestled in the high-altitude foothills of the Andes, the vineyards thrive in semi-arid conditions that produce concentrated, balanced fruit with remarkable depth. The winery is internationally celebrated for its rich, expressive Malbecs and its flagship Don Nicanor portfolio, showcasing complex red blends, old-vine selections, and refined varietal wines.
