✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic cellars of Bodegas Osborne in El Puerto de Santa María, Andalucia, Magno Solera Reserva is a distinguished Brandy de Jerez that embodies centuries of Spanish distilling heritage. Founded in 1772 by English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann, the house of Osborne is globally recognized, not least because of its iconic black bull silhouette that stands proudly across the Spanish landscape. This brandy is crafted from selected spirits distilled from Airén grapes, which are then aged using the traditional artisanal Solera y Criaderas system. Resting in American oak casks previously seasoned with rich Oloroso Sherry, the spirit absorbs deep amber hues, warm oak characteristics, and a smooth, velvety texture. The coastal microclimate of the Marco de Jerez imparts a subtle, unique maritime influence during its patient maturation, resulting in a brandy rich with notes of vanilla, toasted wood, and dried fruits.

Osborne's production philosophy centers on meticulous aging, utilizing the traditional dynamic solera system for their Sherries in Spain and classic lodge maturation for their Ports in Portugal. Their highly acclaimed portfolio ranges from rare, decades-old Sherries like the Venerable Pedro Ximénez 30YO and Bailén Oloroso to elegant, structured Ports including aged Tawnies, Late Bottled Vintages, and classic Rubies.
