In 1999, the worlds of haute couture and fine Champagne collided when Piper-Heidsieck collaborated with legendary fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier to dress their signature Brut NV. Gaultier famously clad the bottle in a provocative, red vinyl corset, laced up the back—a nod to both his iconic fashion designs and the sensual, daring spirit of the house. Inside the bottle is Piper-Heidsieck's classic non-vintage blend, which relies heavily on Pinot Noir for structure, Pinot Meunier for fleshy red fruit character, and Chardonnay for elegance and freshness. Sourced from over 100 crus across Champagne, this cuv e is aged on its lees for a minimum of 30 months, resulting in a vibrant, toasted brioche and citrus-forward profile that perfectly matches its high-fashion exterior.

Established in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck with aspirations of crafting a cuvée fit for royalty, Piper-Heidsieck ranks among the most storied houses in Champagne. Today owned by the Descours family's EPI Group, the maison pairs historical gravitas with forward-thinking viticultural stewardship, becoming the first Champagne house to achieve B Corp certification alongside dual HVE and VDC credentials. Viticultural sourcing spans over one hundred distinct crus across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Bar, anchored predominantly in limestone and chalk terroirs. Led by Chef de Cave Émilien Boutillat, vinification prioritizes Pinot Noir dominance, stainless steel fermentation to retain freshness, and lengthy lees aging punctuated by generous reserve proportions.
