Pol Roger's Brut Réserve, affectionately known as the 'White Foil,' is the definitive signature of this historic Épernay house. The Pentland Edition represents an exclusive, specially designated release of this classic non-vintage cuvée, preserving the exact blend and rigorous craftsmanship of the traditional house style. Composed of equal parts Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay sourced from 30 distinct crus, the wine undergoes cool temperature fermentation in stainless steel followed by full malolactic fermentation. It is then aged for a minimum of four years in the house's legendary chalk cellars, situated 30 meters below ground, where the exceptionally cold, damp conditions encourage a remarkably fine, persistent mousse and deep complexity. This cuvée beautifully balances the structure and body of Pinot Noir with the round, fleshy fruit of Pinot Meunier and the elegant, mineral-driven freshness of Chardonnay.
