The Produttori del Barbaresco Assortment Case represents the pinnacle of cooperative winemaking, bringing together nine distinct single-vineyard Riservas produced only in exceptional vintages. The cooperative's roots trace back to 1894 when Domizio Cavazza, the head of the Royal Enological School of Alba, recognized the unique potential of the region and united local growers. This spirit was revived in 1958 by the village priest, Don Fiorino Marengo, who sought to save small family farms from economic ruin. Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, each cru in this assortment—including legendary sites like Rabaja, Asili, and Montestefano—is vinified identically with long skin contact and aging in large Slavonian oak casks. This uniform, traditional approach allows the specific terroir, soil composition, and microclimate of each individual vineyard to express itself with profound clarity.

Founded in 1958 by parish priest Don Fiorino Marengo and nineteen local growers, Produttori del Barbaresco was established to revive the historic cooperative model first initiated by Domizio Cavazza in 1894 in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy. Widely celebrated as one of the world's preeminent wine cooperatives, the estate unites over fifty member families dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grape across exceptional vineyard sites.
