Produttori del Barbaresco, founded in 1958 by the local priest Don Fiorino Marengo, is widely regarded as one of the greatest wine cooperatives in the world. While the winery is legendary for its nine single-vineyard Riservas representing the region's finest crus, any Riserva-level bottling from this historic estate showcases the pinnacle of traditional Nebbiolo winemaking. Crafted only in exceptional vintages, these wines are made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the steep, clay-limestone hills of the Barbaresco DOCG. The vinification follows strict traditional methods, including extended maceration on the skins and aging for 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks (botte), followed by extensive bottle refinement. The resulting wine is a masterclass in complexity, offering a structured, age-worthy profile defined by notes of dried roses, tar, wild red berries, and earthy spice, supported by firm, noble tannins and vibrant acidity.

Founded in 1958 by parish priest Don Fiorino Marengo and nineteen local growers, Produttori del Barbaresco was established to revive the historic cooperative model first initiated by Domizio Cavazza in 1894 in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy. Widely celebrated as one of the world's preeminent wine cooperatives, the estate unites over fifty member families dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grape across exceptional vineyard sites.
