Hailing from the prestigious Langhe region of Piedmont, Prunotto's 'Granadie' is a refined expression of Piedmontese rosato, primarily crafted from the region's signature Nebbiolo grape. The historic Prunotto estate, which dates back to the early 20th century and is now guided by the Antinori family, utilizes gentle pressing and brief skin contact to extract a delicate pomegranate-pink hue—a visual nod to its name, which evokes the vibrant seeds of the pomegranate fruit. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright primary aromas, this wine captures the cooler, high-altitude terroir of the Langhe hills, balancing Nebbiolo's natural structure and vibrant acidity with delicate notes of wild strawberries, rose petals, and subtle spice.

Vingården blev oprindeligt grundlagt i 1904 som kooperativet 'Ai Vini delle Langhe', men i 1922 overtog den visionære vinmager Alfredo Prunotto ejendommen og lagde grundstenen til et sandt kvalitetsfyrtårn i Alba i Piemonte. Efter årtier som pioner inden for enkeltmarks-cru-aftapninger under Colla-familien blev det historiske vinhus i 1989 en del af Marchesi Antinori, hvilket forenede toscansk vinarv med klassiske piemontesiske traditioner. Prunotto mestrer præcisionsdyrkning og terroir-drevet vinfremstilling på tværs af regionens bedste parceller og frembringer legendariske Nebbiolo-fortolkninger som Barolo Bussia og Barbaresco Bric Turot side om side med levende Barbera d'Asti, frisk Roero Arneis og forædlede grappaer.
