Quinta dos Aciprestes is one of the historic estates of Real Companhia Velha, situated on the left bank of the Douro River in the Cima Corgo subregion. The estate's name is derived from the majestic cypress trees ('ciprestes') that stand guard over the property. While the estate is widely celebrated for its robust reds, the Quinta dos Aciprestes Branco represents a modern expression of Douro white winemaking. Grown on steep, sun-drenched schist slopes that plunge toward the river, the grapes benefit from a unique microclimate that balances intense daytime heat with cooling river breezes.
