Barolo DOCG represents the pinnacle of Nebbiolo expressions in the limestone and clay-rich soils of Piedmont's Langhe hills. Crafted by Roberto Sarotto using fruit sourced from choice estate plots, this wine embodies the traditional architecture of the appellation. Following strict DOCG regulations, the wine undergoes extended skin contact during fermentation to extract complex tannins, followed by minimum mandatory aging in oak casks and bottle. In the glass, it reveals classic aromas of dried red cherry, crushed rose petals, leather, forest floor, and a hint of tar. On the palate, firm, persistent tannins frame a savory core of vibrant fruit, earthiness, and crisp acidity.
