✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the rugged and wild Douro Superior, the Terras do Grifo line by Rozs pays homage to the mythical griffin, a symbol of the untamed beauty of this remote subregion. As a Colheita Port, this wine represents a single exceptional harvest, aged meticulously in seasoned oak casks for at least seven years before bottling. The grapes are sourced from high-altitude vineyards dominated by schist soils, where extreme temperature shifts between scorching summers and freezing winters force the vines to dig deep for nutrients. This slow oxidative aging process in wood transforms the robust, dark-fruit character of the young wine into a complex, amber-hued nectar rich with aromas of dried figs, toasted almonds, and sweet spices, capturing the essence of a single year's climate in the Douro.
