✨ wine.spec_sheet

Spier's Seaward Pinotage is sourced from selected vineyards within the Coastal Region of South Africa, particularly areas benefiting from cool maritime breezes such as Darling and Durbanville. This coastal terroir promotes a slower ripening process, preserving natural acidity and enhancing fruit concentration. The wine is made from 100% Pinotage grapes. Following fermentation, it is typically matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels for approximately 12 to 14 months to integrate tannins and add subtle spice notes to the dark berry and plum fruit profile.
