Spier, established in 1692, is one of South Africa's oldest wine estates located in Stellenbosch. The Signature Chenin Blanc represents a fresh, fruit-forward expression sourced from coastal vineyards across the Western Cape. Grapes are grown in diverse soils including decomposed granite and shale, influenced by the cooling Benguela Current. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with minimal oak contact, the wine highlights the primary aromatic purity, vibrant natural acidity, and crisp mineral drive characteristic of South African Chenin Blanc.

Established in 1692 along the banks of the Eerste River in Stellenbosch, Spier is one of South Africa's oldest wine farms. Acquired in 1993 by the Enthoven family, the estate has transformed into a benchmark of ecological stewardship, operating under certified organic viticulture and holistic regenerative farming. The vineyards thrive on decomposed granite, Table Mountain sandstone, and alluvial loam, benefiting from cooling maritime breezes off False Bay.
