Hailing from the historic Vine Hill Ranch in Oakville, this exceptional cuvée represents the pinnacle of TOR's winemaking. Nestled along the gravelly benches of western Oakville, Vine Hill Ranch has been meticulously farmed by the Phillips family since 1959, earning a legendary reputation for producing some of Napa Valley's most complex and structured Cabernet Sauvignon. The 'Pure Magic' designation is reserved only for extraordinary barrels that exhibit a seamless, transcendent synergy during blending. Winemaker Jeff Ames employs a minimal-intervention approach, utilizing native yeast fermentations and aging the wine in prime French oak barrels. The result is a profound expression of Oakville terroir, characterized by deep dark fruit, exquisite mineral tension, and a rich, velvety texture that pays homage to the heritage of this iconic vineyard.

Founded in 2001 by Napa Valley veteran Tor Kenward and his wife Susan, TOR Wines is an artisanal producer located in St. Helena, California. Drawing upon Kenward's nearly three decades of executive experience alongside legendary growers and winemakers at Beringer Vineyards, the estate is dedicated to crafting small-production, vineyard-designated wines from premier sites throughout Napa Valley. TOR focuses primarily on historic grand cru-caliber terroirs, most notably Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, and Cimarossa Vineyard. Employing a minimalist, site-expressive winemaking philosophy, the winery is internationally celebrated for its powerful, cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignons, refined Chardonnays, and rare, expressive Syrahs.
