Tor Kenward's deep appreciation for Rhône-style wines shines in the Rock Cuvée Cooper, a bottling that pays tribute to both the rugged, stone-laden soils of its vineyard sources and Tor's beloved late golden retriever, Cooper, who spent many days roaming the vines. Sourced from select high-altitude, low-yielding hillside sites in Sonoma and Napa, this Grenache-dominant cuvée is crafted with minimal intervention. Fermented using native yeasts and aged primarily in neutral French oak, the wine captures the pure, expressive essence of the varietal—showcasing vibrant red fruit, white pepper, and wild herb notes that reflect the unique volcanic terroirs of Northern California.

Founded in 2001 by Napa Valley veteran Tor Kenward and his wife Susan, TOR Wines is an artisanal producer located in St. Helena, California. Drawing upon Kenward's nearly three decades of executive experience alongside legendary growers and winemakers at Beringer Vineyards, the estate is dedicated to crafting small-production, vineyard-designated wines from premier sites throughout Napa Valley. TOR focuses primarily on historic grand cru-caliber terroirs, most notably Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, and Cimarossa Vineyard.
