Sourced from the crown jewel of Napa Valley, the legendary Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, TOR's West Block Cabernet Sauvignon represents the absolute pinnacle of single-block expression. First planted in 1868 by pioneer Hamilton Crabb, To Kalon—meaning 'the highest beauty' in Greek—is renowned for its well-drained gravelly soils and ideal microclimate. The West Block selection highlights a specific parcel within this historic vineyard where the vines must struggle, producing tiny, highly concentrated berries. Winemaker Jeff Ames employs a non-interventionist approach, utilizing native yeast fermentation and aging in prime French oak barrels without fining or filtration. This results in an incredibly deep, powerful, and seamless Cabernet Sauvignon that balances opulent dark fruit with exquisite structural elegance and mineral complexity.

Founded in 2001 by Napa Valley veteran Tor Kenward and his wife Susan, TOR Wines is an artisanal producer located in St. Helena, California.
