Trapiche's Costa & Pampa project represents a daring departure from Argentina's traditional high-altitude, Andean viticulture, venturing instead to the rolling hills of Chapadmalal, just six kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean in the Buenos Aires Province. Here, the influence of the cold maritime breeze, abundant rainfall, and thermal amplitude create a unique microclimate. This Sauvignon Blanc is crafted to reflect this extreme coastal terroir. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant, fresh character, the wine showcases intense aromas of freshly cut grass, green apples, and citrus, underpinned by a distinct salty minerality born from the ocean winds. It is a testament to Trapiche's spirit of exploration, proving that Argentina can produce world-class, cool-climate coastal whites.

Bodega Trapiche blev grundlagt i 1883 af Tiburcio Benegas og hører til blandt Argentinas ældste, mest ansete og internationalt anerkendte vinproducenter med base i Maipú, Mendoza. Vingården holder til i et historisk vineri i florentinsk stil for foden af Andesbjergene, hvor over et århundredes vindyrkningstradition forenes med nyskabende innovation og biodynamiske metoder.
