✨ Technical Specifications

Trimbach's Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle represents the pinnacle of the estate's work with this noble Alsatian variety. Sourced primarily from the limestone and clay-rich soils of the Osterberg Grand Cru in Ribeauvillé, this cuvée is only produced in exceptional vintages. Historically, Pinot Gris was known in Alsace as 'Tokay d'Alsace,' a name associated with the legendary 16th-century general Lazarus von Schwendi. Trimbach crafts this wine in their signature bone-dry, structured style, completely avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve a vibrant, mineral-driven acidity that beautifully balances the grape's natural richness, spice, and opulent texture. After slow fermentation in stainless steel and neutral wood, the wine is aged extensively in the estate's historic cellars before release.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 1626 in the historic heart of Alsace, Maison Trimbach has been guided by the Trimbach family across more than a dozen generations, earning an international reputation from their cellars in Ribeauvillé. The estate is celebrated for its purist winemaking philosophy, emphasizing pristine structure, mineral tension, and an uncompromising dedication to bone-dry expressions that age with profound grace. Sourcing fruit from exceptional terroirs, including prestigious Grand Cru sites, Trimbach crafts some of the world's most revered white wines alongside refined regional eaux-de-vie. Their crown jewel, the legendary Clos Sainte Hune Riesling, stands as a global benchmark of precision and longevity, complemented by classic expressions of Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc.
