While Alsace is globally renowned for its white wines, its history with Pinot Noir runs deep, dating back to the Middle Ages when red wines dominated the region's vineyards. Maison Trimbach's Pinot Noir R serve is a beautiful tribute to this heritage, crafted from carefully selected parcels around Ribeauvill characterized by limestone and clay soils. Unlike many heavy, oak-laden modern Pinot Noirs, Trimbach champions a style of purity and restraint. The grapes undergo a traditional maceration to extract delicate tannins and vibrant color, followed by aging in stainless steel and neutral oak casks. This preserves the grape's bright red-fruit character, resulting in a wine of exceptional freshness, subtle earthy complexity, and a refined, elegant structure that reflects the cool-climate terroir of Alsace.
