Trivento's Golden Reserve Black Series Pinot Noir represents a sophisticated exploration into the cooler, high-altitude microclimates of Mendoza's Uco Valley. While Argentina is globally celebrated for robust Malbecs, this cuvée showcases the estate's mastery over the notoriously temperamental Pinot Noir grape. Sourced from select high-elevation vineyards where the soils are rich in calcium carbonate and the nights are exceptionally chilly, the vines are swept by the cold Polar wind—one of the three legendary winds that give Trivento its name. This unique terroir slows ripening, preserving the grape's delicate acidity and bright red-fruit character. The wine is carefully aged in French oak barrels to impart a subtle spicy complexity without overshadowing its vibrant, ethereal fruit profile, resulting in an elegant red that challenges traditional expectations of Argentinian viticulture.

Established in 1996 as the Argentine subsidiary of Chilean wine powerhouse Viña Concha y Toro, Bodega Trivento takes its name from the three Andean winds that shape Mendoza's viticultural landscape: the arid, warming Zonda, the cooling oceanic Sudestada, and the frigid winter Polar. Headquartered in Maipú, Trivento manages extensive vineyard holdings spanning premier subregions of the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo.
