✨ Technical Specifications
Trivento, named after the three winds—Polar, Zonda, and Sudestada—that sweep through the vineyards of Mendoza, crafts its Golden Reserve Malbec as a tribute to the historic terroir of Luján de Cuyo. Sourced from hand-selected, old-vine grapes planted in alluvial soils near the Mendoza River, this 100% Malbec represents the traditional heartland of Argentine viticulture. The grapes undergo careful fermentation followed by approximately 12 months of aging in French oak barrels and foudres, resulting in a deeply concentrated wine. It offers a rich profile of ripe red fruits, plums, and strawberries, intertwined with delicate notes of vanilla, chocolate, and black pepper, framed by silky tannins and a vibrant, balanced acidity.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1996 as the Argentine venture of the renowned wine group Viña Concha y Toro, Bodega Trivento is situated in Maipú within the premier winemaking heart of Mendoza, Argentina. The estate takes its poetic name from the three signature winds—the Polar, Zonda, and Sudestada—that sweep across the Andean foothills, actively shaping the microclimates and health of the vines. Emphasizing modern, sustainable viticulture alongside precise cellar craft, the winery sources fruit from prime high-altitude vineyards across the Uco Valley, Luján de Cuyo, and Maipú. Trivento is celebrated internationally for its bold, fruit-forward red wines, particularly its benchmark Malbec bottlings such as the Golden Reserve and the ultra-premium icon Eolo, as well as refreshing white and sparkling offerings.
