Named after a flat paddock near the historic Pokolbin homestead, this wine played a pivotal role in introducing generations of Australians to red wine. Historically crafted as a classic Australian blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, it combined the spicy, soft plum characters of Shiraz with the structure and blackcurrant notes of Cabernet.
