Established in Reims, the house owes its legendary status to Madame Clicquot, the Grand Dame of Champagne, who took over in 1805 and pioneered the riddling table to clarify sparkling wine. This non-vintage cuvée is defined by its Pinot Noir dominance, which provides the structural strength and complexity characteristic of the house style. It is blended with Chardonnay for elegance and Pinot Meunier for roundness, incorporating a high proportion of reserve wines aged up to nine years to ensure consistency and depth across releases.
