Veuve Clicquot Rich NV is a playful, contemporary nod to the historical traditions of Champagne. In the 19th century, Champagnes exported to markets like Russia were famously sweet, often referred to as 'rich' wines. Madame Clicquot herself was a pioneer in customizing sweetness levels for different global tastes. This modern iteration is crafted specifically for mixology, featuring a higher dosage of around 60 grams per liter. The blend is anchored by Pinot Noir, which provides the signature Veuve Clicquot structure, complemented by a high proportion of Meunier for fresh, round, and fruity notes, and Chardonnay for brightness. This unique composition allows the Champagne to pair beautifully with ice and fresh ingredients like cucumber, grapefruit zest, or pepper, revitalizing a historic style for the modern palate.

Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot in Reims, Veuve Clicquot rose to global prominence under the visionary leadership of Madame Clicquot, the legendary Grande Dame of Champagne who took control of the house in 1805.
