✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic cooperative of Wolfberger in Eguisheim, the cradle of Alsatian viticulture, the Cuvée Saint Léon IX Gewurztraminer pays homage to Pope Leo IX, who was born in Eguisheim in 1002. Crafted from 100% Gewurztraminer grown on the region's signature clay-limestone soils, this wine embodies the opulent, aromatic style of Alsace. The grapes undergo gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve their intense primary aromas. The resulting wine is rich and expressive, showcasing classic notes of lychee, passion fruit, rose petals, and exotic baking spices, balanced by a characteristic touch of residual sweetness and a textured, round mouthfeel.
