Originally favored in Scotland during the mid-20th century, Golden Promise barley brings an exceptional depth of flavor, showcasing Yamazaki's mastery of grain selection and distillation. Established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, Yamazaki is Japan's oldest commercial whisky distillery, located at the scenic convergence of the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu rivers in Osaka Prefecture, where a unique humid microclimate and exceptionally pure water create the ideal environment for spirits maturation.
