Everything you need to know about bottle tracking, membership, data privacy, and features.
Absolutely not! Anyone can use All Your Bottles. If you don't know all the details about a bottle, simply upload a picture of the label or type what you know. Our system will automatically try to discover the missing information, link it to our global catalog, and help you learn more about your bottles.
Adding a bottle is quick and intuitive. You can search our 200,000+ reference catalog by name, upload a label photo for automatic AI identification, or manually enter the details. If a bottle isn't in the public catalog yet, it will be added to your collection immediately while our system enriches missing details.
The AI Sommelier compiles comprehensive background knowledge, terroir profiles, vintage histories, drinking windows, and culinary food pairing suggestions for bottles in our catalog using a leading AI. Only generic bottle specifications (producer, name, vintage) and uploaded label photos are sent for analysis. Your personal user details and private notes are never shared.
"My Bottles" represents your personal physical inventoryβthe bottles currently in your cellar or finished in your tasting history. "Inspiration" is our global catalog where you can discover new wines and spirits, view AI profiles, and log tasting notes for bottles you've tasted without adding them to your physical inventory. Inspiration tasting notes do not count toward your tier limit.
Yes! You can use All Your Bottles for free to manage an inventory of up to 25 bottles. You will also get full access to all wine and spirit information in our global catalog. While AI recognition of labels is available for free users, instant AI recognition is reserved for our premium members.
Casual Collector members can track up to 50 unique products with 15 instant AI scans per day, public share links, and CSV export. Collection Master members enjoy unlimited product tracking, unlimited instant AI scans, and Shared Cellars.
Every distinct bottle entry in your inventory (including active bottles in stock and Finished Bottles in your Tasting History) counts as 1 unique product against your tier limit, regardless of physical bottle quantity. Deleting a bottle entirely (using β) removes it from your inventory and frees up limit capacity. Tasting notes created under Inspiration without adding the bottle to your cellar do not count towards your limit.

Your collection data is never deleted! All your registered bottles, purchase records, and personal tasting notes remain safely stored and fully accessible. However, if your unique product count exceeds your new tier limit, you won't be able to add new products until you free up space (by deleting unwanted entries) or renew your membership.
We use an internationally recognized payment solution to handle transactions securely. All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as popular regional and national payment options are supported.
No! The site is created to be as uncluttered as possible, completely free of ads and annoying newsletters. Furthermore, the user information we require is extremely limited. It is entirely up to you whether you want to add more information to your profile to take advantage of any future personalized features based on demographic information.
You can securely delete your account at any time under Settings in the Danger Zone section. When you delete your account, your personal data, inventory, purchase history, and private tasting notes are permanently removed. Objective catalog contributions (such as wine names, producer details, or uploaded label photos) are retained anonymously to maintain the integrity of the global registry.
We collect minimal credentials upon registration: your username, email address, and password (stored securely as a cryptographic hash), plus your optional country of residence. We do not deploy tracking cookies or display ads. Your private tasting notes and purchase histories remain confidential. When utilizing our AI features, only generic bottle specifications and uploaded label images (for recognition purposes) are processed by a leading AI provider.
Yes. Passwords are cryptographically hashed, and all requests are protected using modern web security protocols. Our service and database infrastructure are securely hosted on a European cloud provider (bunny.net).
We strictly enforce your privacy settings across all API endpoints and database queries. Private reviews and personal tasting notes are filtered out from all public feeds and global profile endpoints. You hold full ownership of your content and can delete or hide it at any time.
Yes, your data belongs to you. You can export your entire active collection, including your purchase history and personal notes, as a CSV file at any time under Settings.
When you delete a bottle from your collection, it is placed in the Recycle Bin (found under Settings) and instantly frees up space in your capacity limit. Bottles in the Recycle Bin are automatically and permanently purged after 14 days. When a bottle is permanently purged (either automatically or manually by you), its purchasing history is lost forever. However, your personal tasting notes and community ratings are always preserved safely.
All Your Bottles is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It delivers a fast, responsive mobile experience without needing an app store download. You can install it directly to your home screen! On iOS (Safari): tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen". On Android (Chrome): tap the menu dots and select "Install App" or "Add to Home screen".
The app caches core interface components for fast loading. While an active internet connection is needed to search the global catalog, sync changes, and request AI profiles, basic application screens will load instantly when launched from your home screen.
You can create a Shared Collection (or Shared Rack) and invite your partner, family, or friends using their username or email address. All bottles added to a shared collection are visible and manageable by all invited members. To make collaboration easy, you will see exactly who added each bottle, and all members' personal tasting notes are combined internally so you can see what your friends thought of a bottle! Don't worryβif you create a public share link, your personal tasting notes are kept strictly private. Furthermore, if a member leaves, all physical bottles logged in that shared collection remain safely preserved in the collection.
Don't worry! Your personal collection is always safe. Even if a bottle submission is not added to the public catalog or an existing catalog record is archived, your personal bottle entries, purchase details, ratings, and tasting notes remain completely intact in your private collection.
Yes! You can rate and review any bottle in our global catalog. Community reviews and star ratings are public and displayed alongside your username to help fellow collectors. Your personal tasting notes in your collection remain completely private (except to members you explicitly invite to a Shared Collection).
A Community Review is designed to share your rating and thoughts with other users globally. It can be shared publicly or kept private. A Personal Tasting Note is strictly private to your account (and any members you explicitly invite to a Shared Collection), stored per bottle/vintage, and is never published or visible to the general public.
If you set a review to "π Share publicly", it appears on the wine profile page with your username. If you set it to "π Keep private", it is only visible to you when logged into your account.
You can switch any review at any time! In the wine's detail modal under the "My Experience" panel, select the visibility option ("Share publicly" or "Keep private") and save. Alternatively, on any of your own review cards, click the visibility badge (π Public / π Private) to instantly toggle its privacy state.
Open the wine detail modal for the wine you reviewed, go to the "My Experience" panel, and click the "ποΈ Delete Review" button. This permanently removes your rating and review from the database.
Navigate to your Settings tab under Account Configuration. You can choose whether new reviews default to "π Public" or "π Private". This setting applies to all future reviews you write without changing existing reviews.
Yes! Under Settings, you will find our CSV Import tool. Simply export your collection as a CSV file from your current app (such as Vivino or CellarTracker) and drop it into the importer. Our system will match the bottles and add them to your active collection.
Once logged in, you can click the π¬ Send Feedback button available in the app to submit general comments, feature suggestions, or bug reports directly to our development team. You can also reach us via email at contact@allyourbottles.com.
